Description
Designed for entry-level technicians, industrial trainees, and vocational learners, this course provides a foundational exploration of steel as a core material in modern manufacturing. Beginning with the properties and classification of steel, learners will examine the historical evolution of steelmaking and understand the sequence of modern production processes, from raw inputs to finished steel products. Through scenario-based activities, multimedia presentations, and formative quizzes, participants develop the ability to distinguish between types of steel, interpret processing terminology, and identify safety-critical practices. This course is part of the broader Industrial Metallurgy Fundamentals track and serves as a prerequisite for process-specific modules.
