It is mainly used to examine almost everything, such as steel, ceramics or composite materials, etc. Materials testing can be split into five sections: mechanical testing; testing for thermal properties; testing for electrical properties; testing for resistance to corrosion, radiation, and biological deterioration; and non-destructive testing.
