Description

COVID-19 is a respiratory disease caused by the virus SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2). The virus has infected over 3 million people across 213 countries and resulted in over 200,000 deaths.

Globally, local, regional, and national governments have taken unprecented steps to control the spread of the virus, including ‘stay at home’ and ‘social distancing’ orders. As large segments of the economy are shut down or reduced, the impact is also being felt by steel companies.

This steelTalks brings together a panel of Human Resources leaders from steel companies around the world. They’ll share how their companies are affected by COVID-19 from the perspective of the people working in the industry, including new safe work practices and approaches to matching the workforce with the current economic situation.
