Description

Modular construction allows for a rethinking of materials selections decisions which permits an increased use of more resilient materials whilst offering a significant reduction in both life cycle costs and life cycle emissions.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
• Explain the concept of modular construction and its benefits in urban development.
• Evaluate the role of stainless steel in improving durability, sustainability, and recyclability in modular structures.
• Compare modular construction with traditional methods in terms of cost, time, and safety.
• Apply lifecycle costing principles to assess the long-term viability of modular stainless steel structures.
