Description

Steel materials are ideally suited for applications in heavily stressed components that require high durability. The degree of functionality and component performance is strongly tied to the effectiveness of the processing technology deployed for a given application. In this module the different applications of direct hardening steel form with annealing and hardening/tempering will be developed. Then, each product and execution will be connected to the correct application through an exercise. Finally, the selection of a particular type of steel using specifications will be explained.
