steelTalks is a monthly series on topics of interest to the global steel community. The lectures are presented in a webinar format with a guest lecturer. In this lecture, the results of experimental tests of full-scale steel connections in quasi-static tests are discussed. Connections between steel profiles and cases with columns embedded in reinforced concrete are analysed in order to assess the vulnerability of existing buildings and modern construction trends.
