Description
Life cycle assessment (LCA) is a methodology to evaluate the environmental performance of a product system.
LCA studies are undertaken in four phases; these being Goal and Scope Definition, Inventory Analysis, Impact Assessment, and Interpretation. LCA is used to inform decision making as society seeks to reduce environmental burdens from consumption of products and services.
