Description
Creating a vehicle that is more environmentally responsible, safer, and affordable is a challenge for design engineers. The automotive industry, suppliers and scientists all continue to develop technologies to meet these challenges. In this module we will discover that selecting materials for an automotive component is complex and the whole life cycle of the vehicle should be considered. Failure to do so may optimise a single component but result in an unwanted impact on the total Life Cycle Greenhouse Gas emissions, GHG, for the vehicle system.
