Description
In the Nominal Vehicle step, we define the Nominal vehicle on which to ‘install’ the Original Component.
This vehicle will become the baseline to which we will compare all changes. Inputs are 1) the vehicle type, 2) size as defined using length and width measurements, 3) the number of passengers, 4) the cargo mass, and 5) a powertrain type (internal combustion-gasoline, internal combustion-diesel, parallel hybrid, fuel cell, plug-in electric, or battery electric).
