Description
Architecture and the use of steel in construction have become more ambitious in recent years as construction methods have improved. This has made the design process more complex than ever before and companies are increasingly using modern 3D Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to consolidate the design and engineering of the main structure of a building to solve design and structural modelling challenges. In this module the use of BIM software in the construction of modern steel structures will be introduced.
After that, different cases of studies illustrating the detailed use of steel in these applications will be presented. Finally, a summary of this topic will be given. This is the final module of the Construction course.
