Description
Basic Oxygen Steelmaking (BOS). This is a significant process into the refining steel composition. It is the previous step before Continuous Casting. That is why it is important to make the right decisions about the different parameters to control it. In order to do that, there are common sensors and mathematical models. In this module A description of the main components of BOS will be presented in this module. Then, a list of sensors used to control the process is described. Finally, the control models used to make decisions during the BOS process are mentioned.
